Big Sister is a project implemented by Hope for Youth Development Organization in Tanzania, focusing on adolescent girls and young women in rural communities of Mwanza. The project addresses challenges girls face in staying in school, avoiding early pregnancies and early marriage, and building confidence in their future. Through life skills training, reproductive health education, leadership development, peer support, mentorship, and community dialogue, young women are trained to become role models and mentor adolescent girls in Tanzania.
