Sister Initiative “AU-EU Youth Action Lab” launches final funding round for youth-led organizations

Our sister initiative under the AU-EU Youth Lab, the AU-EU Youth Action Lab, has launched its third and final Call for Proposals, creating another opportunity for youth-led organizations to access funding and advance youth-led solutions. The funding is offered and managed by the AU-EU Youth Action Lab.

Two opportunities are available: 

  1. Innovation Grants of €42,000, supporting organisations to design, test, adapt or scale innovative approaches to global challenges.
  2. Entrepreneurship Grants of €31,500, focused on creating a stronger enabling environment for young entrepreneurs.

Eligible organizations must be based in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia (Somaliland Region), Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe.

Projects will run from January to December 2027.

Applications close on 23 September 2026 at 13:00 CAT.
