Advocating for Responsible Mining: A Youth-Led Initiative in Cameroon is a project implemented by Xhuma Africa in Cameroon, focusing on young people in mining communities across Bamenda. The project addresses environmental damage, social injustice, youth exclusion, and limited community influence over natural resource governance. Through digital storytelling, advocacy training, policy engagement, and community dialogue, young people are supported to challenge irresponsible resource extraction and promote corporate accountability, sustainable mining laws, and environmental protection in Cameroon.
