Apply now: The Youth Voices Third-Party-Funding Mechanism for youth-led initiatives is here!
The Youth Voices Third-Party-Funding Mechanism (TPFM) is a grant initiative under the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective. It empowers youth-led organizations to develop projects that amplify marginalized voices, drive advocacy, and strengthen youth networks.
Through this funding, young changemakers can implement initiatives addressing societal challenges while ensuring youth voices influence national, regional, and continental decision-making, including the African Union (AU) and European Union (EU).
Youth play a critical role in shaping policies, advocating for social change, and addressing community challenges. However, many youth-led organizations – especially those working with marginalized groups – struggle with limited funding and resources.
The TPFM bridges this gap by providing financial support for youth-led initiatives tackling key societal issues, amplifying youth voices in decision-making spaces, strengthening youth movements through cross-border collaboration, and fostering connections between youth in Africa and the African diaspora.
The TPFM provides grants between €1,000 and €10,000 to eligible youth-led organizations for project implementation over 12 months. To be eligible, organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Youth-led: Decision-makers must be aged 15-35 years, with at least 70% of staff/volunteers under 35.
- Registered entity: Must be a youth-led NGO, association, trade union, collective, or alliance.
- Operating in one of the 15 eligible countries:
- Belgium
