Innovation Fair 2025: Empowering Youth to Lead the Africa-Europe Innovation Agenda
The Innovation Fair 2025, organized in October 2025 by the Africa-Europe Innovation Platform (AEIP), concluded in Brussels, promoting sustainable and cross-continental growth. Under the theme “Enabling That Step Forward,” the fair served as a high-level platform to showcase transformative solutions and foster deeper collaboration between African and European innovation ecosystems.
Among the key voices at this year’s fair was Konstantinos Maragkos, Co-Founder of Youthmakers Hub. Representing the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme, he took an active role in the multi-actor dialogues that defined the event.
Our representation helped bring youth-led innovation at the center of the broader Africa-Europe Research and Innovation (R&I) dialogue.
The impact of the Innovation Fair was multifaceted, providing a fertile ground for the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme to expand its reach. The event focused on several core pillars:
