Join now: Youth Dialogues on a Fair Partnership

Oxfam and Search for Common Ground, as part of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab programme, are creating spaces for young people aged 15 to 35 from Africa and Europe to exchange on what a fair partnership truly means. As part of this initiative, youth are engaging in virtual and face-to-face dialogues to reflect on the AU-EU relationship, its progress, and the opportunities for shaping a more inclusive future. These dialogues build on the AU-EU Joint Vision for 2030 and the commitments reaffirmed at the 3rd AU-EU Ministerial Meeting in May 2025.

Two virtual sessions taking place on 3 and 17 October will invite participants to question whether the partnership lives up to the ideals of equality, fairness, and inclusivity.

Selected participants will reflect on the four thematic priorities of the AU-EU partnership:

  • Peace, Security, and Governance
  • Multilateralism
  • People, Migration and Mobility
  • Prosperity

For these activities, we invite young people to apply and share their voices and perspectives. Participation is, as always, free of any charge

For the selected young people, participation is mandatory for both online dialogues

Application deadline: 15 September 2025, 18:00 (CET).

The Youth Voices Lab programme continues to strengthen youth engagement and accountability, ensuring that young people influence not only the upcoming Summit but also the long-term future of AU-EU relations. If you want to impact leadership at the AU-EU partnership ecosystem, apply now
