ABOUT
The Pan-African Campaign for Peace is a project implemented by Action Citoyenne pour le Développement et la Paix in Burkina Faso. It brings together young people from Burkina Faso and Senegal to tackle disinformation and address threats to peace and social cohesion. By strengthening the capacities of young leaders, organising inclusive digital awareness-raising activities, sharing artistic content online, and encouraging cross-border youth mobilisation, the project supports young people in promoting messages of peace, responsible communication, and stronger social cohesion.
“Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness among as many young people as possible about the harmful effects of disinformation. We also seek to equip young leaders who are actively engaged in their communities with the knowledge and skills to promote peace and social cohesion, while using art as a powerful tool for communication and the advancement of lasting peace. By bringing together young people from Burkina Faso and Senegal, we hope to build a united generation committed to peace and social cohesion.”
