ABOUT
Plastic-Free Nile – Youth-Led Cleanup and Advocacy is a project implemented by Save the Nile in South Sudan, focusing on young people, students, fishermen, women, and marginalized communities along the Nile River in Juba. The project addresses plastic pollution, limited environmental awareness, and the need for stronger waste management practices through monthly cleanups, school outreach, radio campaigns, community advocacy, and digital advocacy. It aims to build a youth-led movement for environmental responsibility and climate action in South Sudan.
