The AU-EU Youth Voices Lab at the AfricArena Lagos Summit
Peace Odili from our implementing partner Youthmakers Hub, represented us at the AfricArena Lagos Summit, held in Lagos, Nigeria. The summit convened approximately 250 participants, spotlighted emerging startups across the Finance, Mobility, and Logistics sectors in Nigeria, and continued AfricArena’s mission to highlight innovation across the continent.
The event featured keynote addresses from prominent startup founders and CEOs, alongside panel discussions with investors, venture capitalists, and fintech companies such as Paystack, Flutterwave, and Novastar. Discussions explored the journey from seed to growth stage, managing investor relationships, and expanding Africa’s fintech influence. Topics also included scaling women’s impact in tech, identifying high-impact teams, and areas in Africa that should be prioritized for investment.
Our representative, Peace Odili, engaged AfricArena to explore future collaboration focused on youth engagement and shared access to innovation networks. Discussions also considered potential partnerships with tech firms to enhance and promote the upcoming AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App, while encouraging content that supports youth-led startups and promotes investment across Africa.
Stay tuned to see how this is progressing!
