We Won the Africa–Europe Foundation Youth Award 2025!

We are proud to share that the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme was awarded 1st place at the 2025 Africa–Europe Foundation Youth Awards.

The 2025 edition received 401 applications from across Africa and Europe (373 from Africa and 28 from Europe). Among these, eight initiatives were selected for their innovation, feasibility, and meaningful contribution to advancing the Africa–Europe partnership under the #RoadtoLuanda25 campaign.

Alongside the #RoadtoLuanda25 campaign conducted by the Africa–Europe Foundation, the “Your Voice, Your Road” campaign was implemented on our programme’s channels in October 2025, led by Youthmakers Hub as the partner responsible for Communication, Dissemination, and Visibility. The campaign engaged young people across Africa and Europe to contribute to the AU–EU Partnership through digital outreach, youth dialogues, and participatory approaches.

The campaign reached over 640,000 people, generated more than 5,000 engagement actions, and activated more than 1,600 users on the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App. These results highlight the impact of youth-led collaboration and digital tools in strengthening inclusive, cross-continental dialogue and ensuring that youth voices contribute to shaping the future of the Africa–Europe partnership.
